We were at this beatiful little campground called Shingle Creek on the way to Mirror Lake (in Utah) when I noticed these two perfect flowers only a few feet from the campfire. I played around with a few different angles, and settled on this shot.

Thistles are so beautiful -- in the wild. Too bad they aren't the Scottish ones without the thorns! Love the photo! Love the photographer!
