Funiculaire in Paris

This is the little trolly that takes you up the hill to visit the Sacre Coeur Cathedral in Paris. It was "out of service" the day we visited, so I photographed it instead of riding on it.

Pidgeon in Luxumbourg Gardens

This shot was taken in Luxumbourg Gardens in Paris, France. What I liked about it is the color of the flowers in the background as will as the irridescent color of the neck feathers.

This hallway in the Paris Opera House is magnificent. The natural light coming in from the windows along with the light from the chandeliers gives a "golden" glow to this image.

This shot inside the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris gives a feel for how tall the ceiling is. The stained glass windows are exquisite.

Paris View from the Eiffel Tower

This beautiful view from the Eiffel Tower was taken at that "magic" lighting moment at twilight. Again, I had no tripod so I just braced the camera on the hand rail.

The Seine at Twilight

I don't know how you can be in a more beautiful and romantic setting than on The Seine in Paris at twilight. The city, reflections, and bridges are spectacular. Getting a decent image on a moving boat in low light hand-holding the camera is difficult, however. This one is not bad.

Eiffel Tower at Night

The detail of this steel structure looks almost like lace when photographed from this distance at night.

Spiral Staircase

I was last to go down the staircase at l'Arc de Triomphe in Paris because I was taking so many pictures of the view outside. Little did I know that the best picture I would take of the day would be inside on the way down!
