This isn't just a sailboat picture. This is from the "grinder" position looking forward on the 12 meter yacht "Stars and Stripes" which was skippered by Dennis Connor while winning back the America's Cup in Australia in the 1987 competition. We were able to sail in a mini America's Cup Regatta against a Canadian yacht while we were visiting the island of St. Maarten. I love the lines in the photo, but the memories of that day are even better!

Stars and Stripes in St. Maarten
