Sistine Chapel Ceiling

This was taken with a camera at my side pointed up and the shutter released with my thumb! The photo isn't particularly unique, but the place is. I'll never forget my visit there.

I love this! When I got to Rome the Vatican was in one of my first areas, but they were cleaning the ceiling! They used to say how drab the colors were and were perplexed by the dark shades he used while painting. Well as we can see by your picture, they weren't drab at all! Pretty spectacular! I am impressed at how well that turned out! It's hard to get a good one because so many people are in there at once!

The guards kept loudly saying (almost yelling), "SILENCE" as they watched for people taking photos. What a cool place.
