This view of the Washington Monument is from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. This particular evening was perfectly still and very cold. I did have a tripod with me (which is a rarity). Without it, this photo would have been impossible. It was a two second exposure.

I love DC! It is so amazing! I have not been there since we buried my Dad. It is the top item on my "bucket list"! Do you have any photos of Arlington? I would love to see them!
